- Fundraiser details: contact information, beneficiary information and any documents you upload to support the case.
- Site usage: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used in aggregated form to improve the Site.
2. How we use it
- To process your donation and email your receipt.
- To verify and publish a fundraiser, with the beneficiary's consent.
- To send periodic impact updates to donors who have asked to receive them.
- To meet our legal, accounting and reporting obligations.
3. What we never do
- We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We never share your contact details with other charities or third parties for marketing.
- We never store your full card details on our servers — payments are processed by certified payment providers.
4. Sharing
We share information only with: payment service providers (to process donations), our auditors and legal advisors (to meet statutory obligations), and government authorities where required by law.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted access, and secure servers — to protect your data. No internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we treat your information with utmost care.
6. Retention
We keep donor and fundraiser records for as long as required by Indian tax and trust law, and for a reasonable period thereafter for audit and historical purposes.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion (subject to statutory record-keeping rules). Write to info@thehealfoundation.in and we will respond within 15 working days.
8. Cookies
We use minimal essential cookies to keep the Site functional. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for marketing.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
